I have already built a ShamWah board a bit ago that I love the sound of on guitar, but was not quite right with my bass.

As with my last build I used the Synthcube enclosure because I like the matte black texture. Wima film caps, Würth electrolytics, Kyocera AVX tantalums, Vishay MLCC caps, Dunlop Hot Potz II 100K potentiometer, a genuine Gagen wound Halo inductor, NOS Continental Devices India BC109C transistors for Q2 and Q3, NOS Fairchild J201 for Q1, and Pure Tone ¼" jacks since I like gold on black.

Something I'm trying out is running the pedal on 18v vs 9v and have made the changes needed to make it work.

Every removable piece is plugged in using Dupont style connectors since I like swapping boards occasionally.

As with the first build I replaced the first transistor stage with a JFET buffer. I used the PPCB Simple JFET Buffer as my guide. Since I run the pedal on 18v I used a trimpot to dial in half supply voltage.

Obligatory schematic to show what I changed. I did a some of Chuck D. Bones's mods, C4 is 47uF and C6 is 100nF. The opamp for the Output Boost is a TLE2071 instead of TL071. Surprisingly I didn't have any TL071 on hand but had the TLE2071 that I can't even remember why I got it. The sweep pot is in the schematic but I haven't added it in yet, I may also bring the boost level trimpot outside as well.
