Being derived from a Skreddy circuit I had to build it and I’m glad I did! This thing rocks! I think I like it more than the Diamond Peak. To me it’s more amp like. Doesn’t have as much gain but that could be down to transistor choice and biasing of the Diamond Peak. Great touch response and sensitivity. Thanks to @MichaelW for the transistors. I ended up using the MPS3553. According to your notes they were both between 110-120 hfe. However my cheapo CCT said one was in the 80s. I meant to stick it in Q3 but can’t remember if I did or not. Honestly I’m just surprised I managed to get it working because I had to twist the legs so needless to say I doubt I’ll be trying others lol. After my last build not working, Quick Lime Girl, I NEEDED a good build and thankfully this one fired up right away. I did have a bit of a scare at first as I forgot I pulled v1 from my Deluxe Reverb to give the pins a proper cleaning so on first try I got nothing! Thankfully I remembered so I plugged it into the second channel and it sounds fantastic! Highly recommend build. Only bummer is I’ve now built all the Skreddy pedals. We need more! Figured I give me LP a little love with this one. IMG_4445.jpeg

I think out of all the Skreddy pedals I've built this one seems to be the most forgiving in terms of the transistors. I initially built mine with 2N3904's which were a lot higher gain. It sounded great! But probably not like how Ahlfs builds it. When I switched to low gain NPN's (MPS3646) I thought I might have to put a trimmer in there to re-bias it but I got 4.73v on Q3-C. Now it sounds even great-er:)

Congrats on the build firing right up! I know you needed a win.
