This came with some goodies from @drgonzo1969
For those not familiar, dylan159 has a number of designs that are a sort-of antidote to the mojo, with a dash of minimalism. In other words, what can we simplify, remove, or replace with common parts. This is a take on the Klon.
I gave away my Kilché mini after trying it out quite a few times. It just felt really “meh” and never excited or inspired me.
I’ll take this over a klon any day. To me, it has more bite and dirt on tap. It sounds good on higher gain settings, while the klon felt better doing the dirty boost thing. I could live without the “modern” setting, I preferred the BAT41s.
I didn’t have a 33nF, so I used a 27nF that measured around 30nF. I also borked the alignment and the faceplate is a bit crooked.
