Shika Shika

A Shika in pink and blue. Because fuzzes are supposed to be housed in pink, right? They're warm and fuzzy..

It is like the demos, very over the top and heavy. Still able to dial it back and get something bluesy from it with a single coil.

Straight-forward build, very enjoyable.

I have a Shika ready to go, I will be working on it today. I finished the box yesterday and the colour scheme is: pink/purple/white/black.

Spent a bit of time playing this and can say that it's really flexible.

I'm not a big Doom person, or massive low-end fan, but you can get some really smooth tones by dialing the fuzz back about half-way and volume around 9 o'clock (massive volume on this pedal!). Reduce the tone on a neck pickup and it is really awesome.

The tone knob is extremely flexible, changing the characteristics of the pedal a lot.

I picked this up as a learning exercise, rather than a "I heard one and it was me", but it's a keeper.

Nice work. This is a cool pedal. Unity volume on the one I built is at like 8:30, crazy. An audio pot might be beneficial for these imo

The B50K tone makes quite a difference from the standard 100K, I think it leaves more bass in on the treble side and vice versa.
