Had a request for a clone of the eqd black eye boost recently. Basically a sho etc. so figured id just make up a board.
Recently I switched to using an I/O pcb for dc and the jacks and ribbon cables (one of my best decisions ai think).
Circuit is awesome really pushes my black pearl 30 into break up nicely. For something so simple.
Customer wanted it very plain with just a black chicken head. I offered a 1590A but he’s all about the top jacks.
Kind of weird on the powdercoat. This came from @StompBoxParts its the black texture. Outside looks awesome. Not sure whats going on inside, almost looks like it was going to be a metallic green, or maybe its the base coat. 100% not visible from the outside (though you can see it in the screw holes before they are put on). Just thought it was kind of odd.
