This is my first (successful) build. Very low parts count and very straight forward. Perfect for any beginner.
There is a really nice thick overdrive quality to this pedal. The tone knob also adjust the overall volume level and does not get super bright. Sounds great though. I have a Jackson Audio Belle Star and this pedal kind of does the same sort of thing in terms of the sound. Small tube amp breakup kind of vibe.
