So I’ll be seventy years old in March

I wonder which will give out first? Your ears or your back?
Well I already have tinnitus but that's from the fans in the computer room I worked in. I'm lucky in the back/strength area. I can still easily pickup 100lb sack of cement. I did a LOT of brickwork when I was going through my growth spurt in my teens and, well, kinda resemble a shorter version of Arnold Schwarzenegger. Doc says I have the heart of a 40 year old!!!!

I already have several cabs in 4x12, 4x10, 2x12..... but I saw THIS today.... Whacha think? Might as well make it $5600ish huh? Just so they match? lol...

Hell yeah man, the Mesa Mark series are my favorite amps overall. Has this been something you were thinking about for a while?
Just the impressive list of people that use the Mark II, but the price has always been so high.

But with the stock market taking off like a rocket, and watching how fast my savings are growing I decided now was the time to bite the bullet and buy one!

I've always been a penny pincher but it's finally time to use that money I've saved. A bunch of my friends, including my wife, are in heaven now. I have a new girl and she just sold her house last year and moved in with me. So she's got a bunch of $$$ as well and and and, well, it just made sense to get the stuff I've always wanted!

Like the 37 quart air fryer I bought last night, lmao....

So I usually take my vintage 68 SFDR to my buddies house when we get together to jam. They're gonna freak when they see my new rig, lol

Can I ask who your major Influences are? As with many people mine comes around to James Hetfield's use on MoP and the Black Album.

All my influences started playing in the 60's!!! I started playing Keyboards in 1964 and guitar in 1967

Keith Richards and Carlos Santana are two of the players using this amp that I think I like the most.

I've built many amps, including my own Hiwatt DR504. But this time I wanted one made for me, lol.

This is actually the first new amp I've ever purchased in my entire life..... Another thing I really like is the super wide array of sounds you can dial in right on the amp. Everything from muted tone jazz to heavy metal.

Ah, a couple of my favorite non metal players, excellent taste. I didn't know that about Carlos Santana using a Mark IIC+, I know he had a modified Peavey Triple XXX as a signature model. How does the Hiwatt clone sound? Pretty flexible options wise?

The DR504 is a totally clean machine. Even at max volume the only breakup comes from the speakers. David Gilmore uses three.

Some where in my pictures folder I have a picture of all three after their routine servicing!

It has incredible tone. Zero hum or buzz.
