Oh man that you got something that looks like the listing pictures is gonna be bad for my GAS. Always been curious about ali guitars considering harley benton’s in the same price range play like higher end squire/epis. Hope you get to enjoy it soon!!

What are your first impressions? Anything like a real one?

Well, it sounds really good, but I am confused by the volume and tone set up! My Les Paul studio is just a normal old set up and I think maybe this must be the Jimmy page set up or something that’s weird

And it sounds really good as long as I don’t play chords or anything

But as soon as I try to play something it’s out of pitch,

And then I looked at the bridge and saw why

So apparently some tiny little details like a new set of strings might help

I’m just gonna take a set of my favorite strings and go to my luthier and let him do a full set up on it. It’s only 35 bucks -- he's very economical.

WAT I was under the impression that the sellers order the guitar from a factory when you buy it.
I've been waiting for a guitar for more than five months now. Granted, it's a lefty double cutaway in a custom color. At least it's' nice to see that the system can move a little quicker. Looking forward to your impressions of the new axe!

It depends on if it’s in stock, or really in stock. Since a lot of the time still say “it’s in stock” but then they make it right after you order it.

I’ve had both before and of course, with a custom color and a left-hand orientation. it’s definitely going to take longer.

Well I've had a chance to noodle around with this after moving the string to the correct side of the bar, and I couldn't put my finger on quite what was wrong with the tone. Then I realized it was strung with 9's, which I cannot play with. Something about the size of my fingers prevents me from fingering chords without stretching the string. So, like, I was going to change strings today and decided on house cleaning instead. Maybe tomorrow, BUT, I did get the case for it today!!!!
