[Solved] Son of a Ben feels high-passed

[Picking up where another thread left off]
I built a Son of a Ben and it all seems to be working correctly except it is incredibly bright. I need to have the bass on full and the treble between 0-3 to get a usable tone out of it. It feels/sounds like there is a significant high-pass filter on. IMG_2139.jpeg
Volume and gain seem to work correctly.
Q1 is biased at 5.2 while Q2&3 are biased at 4V.
Any suggestions? or, is this circuit just super bright?
Thanks in advance!
