SPAMMAGE! (Spam & related)

Bad pic, but this is my go to.

Spam Musubi rice bowl.
Reduced sodium spam cut up tiny and crisped up like crazy in a pan. Once it’s crispy, I add a mixture of soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, a little bit of brown sugar, and chili oil. Don’t remember the proportions rn.

Put it on a bowl of sticky rice (bibigo makes pretty good instant sticky rice) with a fried duck egg and some seaweed. Top with sesame seeds or furikake if I have it.

@Passinwind — are you suffonsified? Sated? Satiated? Full?``` HAD ENOUGH?

The Spammage plan I'd hoped to fulfil was to get all that Spam from my HD into the thread before any replies, but it was imSpamossible — Too much SPAM!

OUCH! I just bit my tongue — NO SUCH THANG AS TOO MUSH SPAM!

Whew! I'm exhausted from all that spammage... Look fot the Bonus follow up in my next post...
 
Was it actually fun to make? Despite Hormel's assurance, I'm guessing not.
Well it might've been, had I used a properly sized pan. Didn't have the smooth ring pan, so used an ornate Bundt pan, and that was a friggin mess.

Also you'd have to pop the de-canned meat into the freezer for a bit so you can actually cut it that thinly. Room or fridge temp isn't enough, so they were great steaks instead of a draping.
