Hello, I am wondering if someone can post a picture of a completed speedy gonzales circuit board, I am thinking about ording this soon and I am curious how it looks complete.

I wasn't really referring to a picture like in the build doc, but I did look, I just wanted to see what types of ceramic caps and get a viewing "gut shot" of a completed one

I recommend avoiding ceramic caps if at all possible. Silver mica and film are vastly superior in reliability and performance. If you must buy ceramic caps, get MLCC-type. You can sub 22nF for C2. You can safely omit C1; it will sound exactly the same.

Hope this is helpful, my very amateur effort but it does work….followed the build doc used a W20K instead of a W25K and as previously mentioned used a 22n for C2.Set the TP at close to 4.5v Played against a Mas Malo …they are very close.

Nice! Looks professional to me.
C25K would also work well for HOT. Not sure why Fuller chose a W-taper since there is not much going on at the CCW end.
If anyone wants HOT to go to 11, then jumper R5 and make HOT C10K.

Where is the BIAS trimpot set (resistance or % rotation)?

Thanks….also on the Mas Malo top end of the Hot tends to be unusable…Bias was set using a multimeter to just over 4.5v using the TP

oops sorry about that… I didn’t really pay attention when making the adjustment so not really sure about % of rotation.

Can you measure the voltage on Q4-S?

The pedal is on “loan” to a friend out of state so not in the near term….
