Enter the Star Chambre from Keefe and Scruffie. Based on the vintage MXR118 delay, it does a nice funky analogue delay and goes into feedback with the regen control full up (how you say ‘dimed’)?
Had a minor teeth-gnash last night when said build failed to delay but all well this morning after tweaking trimmers.
By all accounts, BBDs are a bit tetchy to bias but all well and much analogue fun has ensued, especially with the regen control and its weird cartoon artefacts. Right up my (weird) street and of course there’s no accounting for taste, is there?
No intent to offend anyone (especially @Robert) by posting an unrelated build but trust this is ok. Much as I like Keefe and Scruffie’s stuff, their build level of complexity is well above my electronic pay grade, so to speak, and I have to be super-cautious installing the tiny 1/8W MFRs which my auld eyes struggle with. Nothing like a magnifying glass to assist when the chips are down (bad pun intended). As always, thanks for reading and as @fig has it, now go build something.
