Stormy Night In Georgia

So Vikki and I went out met some friends at a local brewery for trivia night, storm breaks out about the time we're all leaving. so we wait it out. Head home round a curve and drive through a treetop, finally get on our little road and what does my dumb ass say "hope we didn't have a tree fall across the driveway" sure as shitte halfway up our steep ass 1/4 mile driveway a 12" hardwood right across it, so with my cellphone flashlight and still pouring rain we hiked on up to house

Well in morning light turns out it was a 14" Pine, and that tree top we drove through trashed the front skirt on my car

We had dinner in Fremantle last night. We took big jackets expecting it to be be cold once the sun went down but ended up sitting outside on the fishing boat harbour in t-shirts. There was barely a breath of wind - very unusual for Fremantle and it was spectacularly beautiful. This is July - our winter!
