Sub mini 3pdt toggle switch, do they exist?

So I'm trying to add an order switcher to a pro-10 dual, and the 3pdt toggles I have are just barely too large. I am trying to fit it on the side of the DC jack (only real spot I can see). Anyways if anyone knows of one thats smaller than regular particularly in height that'd be swell :)
 
How long is your piece of string?

Smaller than which regular? Your regular might be different from my regular.
For example, somebody once commented the TYPE II was the common on-on-on, I find the opposite to be true.


So what do you need size-wise? Hard numbers ...

What about a relay driven module that can be used with an SPST/SPDT switch? You could mount the module anywhere and run wires over to your toggle switch.

It's not much bigger than a 3PDT breakout board (0.85" x 0.925"), although I might add some regulation and polarity protection but that wouldn't increase the size by much.

Love the idea.
Having an onboard reg like the MC78LXX would be nice because one wouldn't be restricted to matching the input voltage to relay voltage. If they do match them, a simple jumper is all that's needed.
Could probably mount the regulator and a cap on the back side and the builder could bend the leads and lay them flat.
And a hole between the 2 relays for a standoff would be cool.

Really it would need to be about the size of a sub-mini dpdt maybe slightly larger, i think roberts idea could work.

Love this idea and would certainly use it in the future, this build I think is going to end up being non switching wasnt a deal breaker, but I certainly love that for dual drives.
 
I've been hunting, but the only sub-minis I'm finding are DPDT, not the needed 3PDT.
It will have to be bigger than a Sub-mini DPDT, but the HEIGHT could be the same — if a sub-mini 3PDT could be found.

Maybe shoot an email to BLMS, as they have the sub-minis in SPDT and DPDT, maybe they could bring in some 3PDTs, if they exist.

At a brick&mortar in Hong Kong I bought some 3PDT-toggles with a footprint smaller than a 3DPT-footswitch, but they're still bigger than the sub-mini size — nonetheless I'll doublecheck my stash.

Meanwhile, I'll keep hunting online, now that I've got a frame of reference for what you need.

I’ve been meaning to ask for this for ages. I have a build planned where I put an order switch in a place that I realized only a spdt would fit even though there’s plenty of room elsewhere. Only request would be if you could add two standoff tabs on either end (they could easily be cut/snapped/filed off if they’re not needed. I hate having boards just floating around loose in my buikds) and maybe add a pair (or two, since it’s an order switcher) of courtesy power and gnd passthroughs so things don’t get crowded at the power jack between this and the two effect PCBs.

You could also surely shrink down the pcb size if you move from the Panasonic/Kemet relay size of the relay bypass boards, and go with one of the smaller sized relays that’s commonly used in DIY stuff (not sure if the FTR-B4CA4.5Z is the right one for this purpose, but there’s a ton in that package size— that’s just one I’ve used in a handful of other projects, so it came to mind).

Edit: just realized this would also solve my issue of black 3pdt mini-toggles being impossible to find
