Substitue 1N914 in spacialist with 1N4148

Just checking with those that kow much more than I. Any reason I should not substitute 1N4148s for the 1N914s in the specialist build? It takes 9 of them and I just do not see a reason why 4148s won't work.

They are equivalent if not identical… you are good to go.

I think originally 914 had higher leakage, but not sure if that’s the case anymore… ether way close enough for rock and roll

This was actually the first substitution I learned. I prefer 1N4148s because they slightly bigger. Soundwise I can't hear any difference.
