If I am reading the schematic correctly it looks like the switch throws in a 120kΩ to make a voltage divider before output. So I would guess the impact would depend upon the actual signal voltage change…..or maybe it’s just for looks? 🤷‍♀️

The 120K is in parallel with the 470K one which lowers the overall resistance at the output of that second stage. That won’t change the voltage the last stage sees but it probably affects the frequency response of the filter right before (controlled by the tone knob).
