Synth I’ve Been Loving You…

I started with the Beats, for a simple drum machine to practice guitar with. I still use it for that. But after watching some youtubers show off their volca stylings, I wanted the Keys for some classic weird synth. No regrets with that purchase.
I haven’t bonded with the Volca Sample. Maybe it’s not my thing. That being said, I plan on getting the Teenage Engineering PO 30(?). It’s a sampler too. But ya know, it’s different.

Some sort of sampler is essential to have with synths, as some sounds you make on a synth will be kind of stuck on that device otherwise. Not everything plays nice in pitches through a keyboard. Running it in a sampler helps a lot making something coherent out of these strange happy accident sounds you stumble into when half-thoughtlessly messing around with the knobs.

I had hoped the Chompi was half-way affordable when word got around of its existence! The Chase Bliss collab version is glorious!

Oh, and then I was reminded of this. How could I forget?!

DIY kits to make your own little modular system. It's basically a course in designing your own modules through video lessons / manuals of core synth blocks..
