Yes, I abreviated "This Week on the Breadboard". Please forgive me lol...
Chuck gave me permission to post this here and really, where else would I post it?
I had purchased a couple of fuzz pedals that I really enjoy. The Deep trip Hellbender and the Page Bender. They are both great sounding fuzz pedals. But, they take up a lot of room. I traced both of the circuits. I drew them up and shared them with Chuck. I told him I wanted to make one circuit that did the job of both of these. He was of course gracious and helped me figure out how to simplify and combine the sounds. The ending result is a circuit that I really love. It is much simpler and sounds amazing in my opinion.

It does great sounds for heavy music of the 1970s. Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Peter Frampton, BOC, Deep Purple, etc.
Names I am thinking of:
Heavy Seventy Fuzz
Diablo Fuzz
Stormbringer Fuzz
Black Blade Fuzz

I should clarify, on my breadboard, the trimmer on the far left is in series with a resistor to make an accurate R14 as I did not have the proper resistor value.

Anyone notice a common theme here? The Skreddy/Animals Diamond Peak is a very good starting point for a cool pedal.

How about naming it That 70's Pedal.

Buck Dharma is one of my favorite guitar players, so any name based on a BOC album or song is good in my book.
For example: On Your Feet Or On Your Knees

Or we could do like Jimmy Page did with Led Zeppelin 4 and not title it at all.

That 70's Pedal is hilarious!
Buck Dahrma is awesome. A very unique guitar player.
I am still undecided on a name for this circuit. But That 70's Pedal or That 70's Drive is good for either circuit.
Elric of Melnibone was a series of books by Michael Morcock that was influential on BOC. I was definitely into the series.
That is why I was thinking Stormbringer Fuzz Or Blade Blade Fuzz as I am sure you notice.

Lol...Led Sabbath...
Oh man I just got done playing Aerosmith Sweet Emotion on this thing with the Les Paul for about 30 minutes...🤘🤪🤤
Fuzz at 10 o'clock, highs and mid at 3 o'clock, bass at noon.
Pretty damn close tone.

My wife is a writer so the first thing I thought of was Page Turner.

Then I thought of:

Paging Hell
Bend It Like Hell
Hellbent
Fuzz on the Water

I called Chuck's Hybrid Fuzz Driver Deluxe the "Fuzzy Mutt", but I like you guys' 70s classic rock- and fantasy-inspired names better.

I just finished Jordan's entire Wheel of Time series, and am looking for more epic fantasy. I'd never heard of the Elric series before this, and it looks to be right up my alley... I guess I can say I need Moorcock in my life. 🤣

Fuzzy mutt is a cool name.
Yeah I would like to use Stormbringer, but I am still kind of on the fence.
Down to:
Stormbringer
Black Blade
Heavy 70

Elric series was first started in 1961 so it's been around. I highly recommend it though if you're into fantasy reading Michael morecock is one of The Originals.

"DUCK BHARMA"

I've been learning some BOC on bass this past week; the sound of my youth.

"REAPER MADNESS"

Brormstinger or Coormock

Muzzy Fut

What if you mixed up the first two letters of BLack with the first two letters of BLade? Then you'd have "Black Blade" instead of "Black Blade".

"Screamin' Diz-Buster" should be a no brainer here. Surprised it hasn't shown up on a pedal yet...

Btw, long time lurker, appreciation for one of my favourite bands was a good excuse to post. Nice job on this circuit :)

+1 on Screamin' Diz-Buster

The live version on OYFOOYK is a bit over the top vocal-wise "I know Lucifer so well I call him by his first name." The guitar solos are of course top notch.
