Tayda Custom Drilling Order Process Questions

Hi Guys,

Apologies if this has been asked before but couldn't find an answer when searching and the instructions on the website aren't that clear for mulitple enclosures....

I'm about to order some powder coated enclosures that I will be getting Custom drilled for some VFE PCBs I've purchased. I have 5 enclosures to order do I just pick the 5 powder coated enclosures colours I want in my cart and then I can assign the template to each enclosure? or do I have to put it in the comments when placing the first order?

Also I want two enclosures with the same colour but different drilling templates is that also possible?

after you purchase the enclosures and drilling service they will show up via order number in your drill tool. You can then select the color (if you have multiple of the same color and size they will still show) in the drill tool add the drilling specifications and submit it per enclosure template. Make sure you purchase the enclosure drilling in the same order as the enclosures.

Yes. After putting in your order (Inthink you have to wait 15 min), you’ll go to the drill/uv tool and assign each purchased job (custom drill and/or UV print) to an enclosure.

No, see above.

Yes, no problem using the same steps. Once the first enclosure is assigned to a job, it will be locked with it and you’ll only have the remaining enclosures to choose from when selecting the next job.

FYI make sure you use Chrome when using the dashboard. I was banging my head against my table trying to figure out why safari wouldn't let me in. I eventually noticed that the dashboard is optimized (aka will only work with) chrome.
