First it sounds as glorious as every other Tube Screamer. Creamy, crunchy, and it gets mid frequencies. Putting the works in this Amplified Parts clear enclosure was relatively easy. But oh no, after I labeled and clear coated I noticed the gain and volume were flipped on the Tayda board. So I decided to run wires and put the potentiometers where they should be rather than redoing labels and 2k clear coat. Not really more to say about it except why the hell did they put the gain on the left? I ran wires so that I could have a traditional layout with volume on the left.
I do not know how sturdy this enclosure would be in a live situation but I do not imagine guitarists would not literally stomp it. I used the softest soft click switch I had, and low profile enclosed jacks. I did not use a bezel for the LED, just a 3mm hole and the LED is wired to the Tayda breakout board. I also used clear knobs because it seemed right. I imagine this layout would fit easily in a 1590b. I did bend two large 1U caps and I soldered the ceramic on the opposite side of the board. Also, the hole circuit is mounted on the bottom plate of this enclosure. That way it was easier to work with IMO.

Notes
- The volume and gain are flipped in this design
- All wiring comes out of the footswitch breakout board
- Pay attention to the potentiometer orientation
