I've discovered two pedals thanks to Helix which I didn't know existed and now need to have in real life.

1- the pocket fuzz. A Jordan Boss tone fuzz which I need in my life in the real world.
2- Kowloon Walled Bunny.

They're both unbelievable (in their digital form anyway). The bosstone looks like I can just get a pcb from fuzz dog in the UK and Ben Adrian has spilled the beans on the KWB on his blog, except for one of the pots. I'll have to do some breadboarding to see what I like.

Can't believe the digitals clones of these pedals are inspiring me to build an analogue one to keep on my board.

I love both these circuits. I've had many involved discussions with a friend about the Kowloon Walled Bunny, so will probably build him one eventually.

Also, check out Codtone's mods for the Bosstone, the Codpiece's "Peyote Mode" is of particular interest to me.

Thanks for the peyote mode suggestion.

Have you built a KWB then @Feral Feline? What value did you use for the GSE knob?' I'm pretty sure I should have everything in my stash to make one.

The BossTone is definitely an underrated pedal. I built one for a friend for Xmas, and I kept it a few weeks before I gave it to him. I was going to build me one, but opted for a Trombetta Mini-Bone, which is a BossTone with some extra controls.

@SillyOctpuss
Nope, haven't built it yet, but the conversations sparked the desire — it will get done, it's just way down in the queue is all. It's a pedal that's "close to home" on a number of fronts. I've already picked the graphic.

Kowloon Walled City was a crazy lawless place that fell through the cracks of bureaucracy.

It's much better serving as a park space within Kowloon now, some remnants of the walled city remain in the park.

PS: In case you haven't already come across this:

I've got a doc for each of my projects, so I've tried to collect all the KWB info I can find.

Thanks @Feral Feline I hadn't seen that post yet. I've got a bunch of other posts, guts shots screenshot on my phone and the only part I can't seem to find info on is the GSE pot

I'm not a fuzz guy but I had a blast using the modelled boss tone on my helix earlier so will definitely make one soon.

Please keep me in the loop if you find any more info!
It's been a while since I visited Adrian's site, so the pot info posted on March 15 this year was new to me — so thanks for that!
Based on that post, it seems there won't be a definitive GSE pot, though; much like how the Muff is more of a concept than a rigid set of components and values...

I was interested in the KWB originally based on the name, probably stumbled onto it on some DIY forum looking for Dist+/250 mods. My friend arrived at it independently of my influence; much like you he found it modelled in his Line6 device. He was the one who sussed out Ben Adrian was working at/for Line6, and that's how such an obscure pedal snuck its way into the Line6 line-up.

Will do. Tbh I'm thinking about emailing Ben and asking him a bit about it. It's not like I can actually buy one anywhere and he's already spilled most of the beans on his blog. I'll let you know how I get on.

Thanks for that @Coda I'll also check out the mini-bone

Scott Evans (who's in Kowloon Walled City) did his own KWB run last year and says he'll do another "this summer":

If you want to try that route vs sussing out mods. But then, who doesn't love modding a 250...?

Just had a look and his seem to be missing the GSE knob which I quite like using in my helix.

I've got some good gutshots including one from Scott Evans

I built a 5E3 Deluxe because of the digital version on the first Pod. It was almost the only amp sim I used on the Pod. So I built one and found that it sounds absolutely nothing like the version on the Pod. I haven't played any Line 6 stuff since so I hope they have improved!
