My first PPCB build is my first build report
I've had the Chop Shop on my board since solving a couple of problems as documented here: I had to rebias it a couple of time to get rid of squealing with high gain+sag, maybe because of the through hole J201s, and I had to add a pulldown resistor to solve popping issues.

So after one year and half I give you my first build report 🎉
You can see from the gutshot the butchering I did when trying to solve the switch pop: I removed the breakout board, added the resistor, and messed up a bit the wiring on the LED, but all in all it's not too bad.

This was also my first try with waterslides, you can see the background red came off a little bit but I can't be bothered to re do it. The clear coat around the switch cracked a bit when tightening, I need to change my clear coating technique

Plenty has been said about this pedal and I confirm that it sounds great into whatever amp I happen to be playing into when rehearsing. Can go from clean boost to almost fuzzy when cranking the gain and the sag
It's very very touch responsive, even a crappy guitar player like me noticed it, that's why I call it the Dynamic Overdriver

That’s a great looking enclosure design!
Thanks!
I like the design but the waterslide isn't perfect, you can see the logos at the top and the text at the bottom are "leaking" red ink
I need to find a solution for that, I read it could be the printer using RGB for black, or too much clear coating

Perfection is overrated. I prefer a little character. I'm especially impressed by how straight and centered it came out for a hand-applied process.

Yeah it's not too bad, but unfortunately not good enough to have scales around the knobs which I had in the original design
