Working through my queue of pedals and a Morning Glory clone is up next. I’m a little underwhelmed with this one. I mainly play worship so I’m sure it’ll be very useful. I was just hoping for a touch more gain on tap. I might try the Parthenon PCB if I do another Bluesbreaker circuit.
I forgot that I had purchased the SMD version of the 2N5457 and didn’t have any adapters on hand so I had to improvise with some stripboard. Turned out fine.
The hi-cut switch is extremely close to the DC jack on this board. Initially, when the hi-cut was switched up, I was getting some buzzing signals that would go away when I touched the switch. Turns out the voltage wire was lightly touching the switch, injecting noise into it. Insulating with some electrical tape fixed the issue immediately.
