Thermionic Deluxe, high pitched squeal when bass pot turned up passed 7-8 or so

So the dual channel pedal sounds great and works in all aspects, one thing I’m noticing though is turning the bass pot up on the high gain channel passed a certain point causes sever high pitched feedback. Just wondering where I start here, have I misplaced a component?
