This Week on the Breadboard: Gator's OD - cb mod

And so without further procrastination lol, ladies and gentlemen I give you ...Gator's Gatordrive! 20240803_191334.jpg
I did some "off board wiring" for an idea I had after I already hashed out board design with the kind and talented Szukalski. Dual color, dual leds for a cool look.

Normal mode pedal on:

Then pedal on and swamp mode on:

The stripe is suppose to be GM Cameo I Ivory much like the stipe on the side of a '68 Pontiac Firebird "HO" model. (High Output). It came out a little too pale. Moving forward with more of these I'm going to make that more of a cream color and probably go with some cream knobs to match on the level and Gain controls. The clear coat is extremely gloss and it's making certain areas look like there's white specks but it's just gloss. This thing sounds pretty freaking awesome!

Lots if room on this board. Easy to solder. He did a really great job on the layout as the input and output wires are part of the board it lets me utilize my connectors the way I like. There is a connector to the I/OPower board as well. Keeps it clean and quiet.
I will be using this for gigs moving forward. It is extremely versatile.

Thank you. Yes it is a little cheezy, but it works. If these sell (4 orders already)
Wouldn't hurt to implement the changes to the board layout.
They are bicolor red green leds with a common anode. Greens are parallel to a large 82K resistor and reds are parallel to a small 680R resistor. This helps the red side of the leds "take over".
So the power is coming from the CLR positive voltage point. The resistors are tied to the two colors and end up soldering to the cathode points on the board.
