This Week on the Breadboard: MOSFET Driver Redux

I was under the impression that the Cattle Driver and MOSFET Driver were two completely different takes on the butler td and that Jon Patton did the original MOSFET Driver. Man I feel like a dumb***Mustve crossed my wires somewhere. My apologies for being stupid.

Mosfet driver is an IC gain stage pushing 2 SHO boosts. A Cattle driver is a soft-clipping IC arrangement. I would characterize them as different takes as you did.

So this is another Boneyard circuit that I plan to build, so I want to make sure I have the correct schematic.
Since the v0.6 schematic was posted, a few subsequent tweaks have been made.
So I *think* the latest result looks like this, which I'll label v0.7. (changes since v0.6 are shown in red)
And once again, thanks go to @Chuck D. Bones and @cooder.
@cooder's demo sounded especially nice!

The value updates for VR1, VR2, C5, C6 & R8 are correct.
C4 does not need to be any larger than 4.7uF. Tantalum is best for its lower noise compared to aluminum.
Tantalum is preferred for C8 - C10, same reason.
C13 can be film or tantalum.

Because of the high gain, this circuit is very sensitive to layout. Keep the input side of the circuit far away from the output side.
