Just put this one together. I wanted to arrange the knobs in a certain way so I off boarded most of them. Doing all the board wiring before putting it in

All done, mounted up.

And here we go. I wanted to do a semi horizontal arrangement for this one that could be used in either position. I had to label the controls and bought some acrylic paint pens for this stuff, but I'm not crazy about hand written labels with my hand writing. But I really don't have a good solution so they'll have to do

The effect is subtle. It's there, but it isn't obvious like my Triad Compressor or Short Circuit

I use this pedal a lot. It's my favorite compressor. When I built this pedal I put the jacks on the side so that if I set up the pedal vertical the jacks would end up on top. I never ended up using the pedal like that and the jacks were just super annoying all being on one side so today I took it apart to drill for jacks on top.

While I was at it I redid the insides so that fewer pots would be off boarded. This happened

Off boarding the switch. I traced the resistors that are to/from the bright switch, removed them and replaced them with new while leaving one leg long. Then I soldered wires to the long legs. Later on I cleaned up the side of the board with a file and insulated it with hot glue.

Lining up the pots to fit the new layout. Hey there's a lot of room there at the bottom

I really like my Tchula build and I would often switch it out with the compressor at the top right spot on my board. But I really only used the left side of the Tchula. This is a Je Taime board populated like a Tcula without the bias foot switch.

Squeezed in there. In the compressor pedal.

Lately I've been using these trimmers for the bypass LED's. A bit while later I remember to add the CLR

Making the wires do their thing

I try to hide the wires as much as possible but there wasn't room between the two boards this time

Almost there...

JK, I needed to take it back apart two more times because the gat dang toggle switch interfered with the audio jack. I had to mount it higher up to make it clear. Also I forgot to implement a trimmer for the compressor LED but I don't think it matters as much as the other

And here we are. I don't like using bare enclosures but I didn't have any painted ones that I liked for this effect ready to go and I didn't want to wait a month to get one painted. I figured the bare metal fit the theme for now. Yellow LED is the comp and blue is the tchula. It even works!
