I am in search of a nice and easy fixed wah filter and this one is endorsed by Matt Pike so I was sold. (I'm a huge fan of Matt Pike).
Mainly I want it for that heel down/toe up stuff. I must say this is a very good circuit but just not what I am looking for. Forgive me because I'm a little green with these types but it seems to give an extra boost which I'm not really looking for. And the blend knob only really does anything at like the last 5-10%. And even then it doesn't seem to "blend" a whole lot.
Looking at the other type of these PCBs it looks like the Station wah is more of what I'm looking for. Don't get me wrong this thing is handy and will go on my board but I think there is something else more suited to my application. Even though this has one of the best names of a board on this site. "Thunder Chicken!!"
I'm a big fan of the 1590BB stuff so I put everything in there. Which is why the insides look like ass. Graphic is an homage to the original.
All-in-all its good stuff.
