Not sure which thread I should post this in so I just went with the general forum...
When it comes to building pedals specifically for the intent to use on bass, should I buffer the footswitch? I am talking about all the kit boards that can be found on this website...
There are so far 2 specific pedals I am looking at, the BBW and Obsidius preamp. I already have a BBE Sonic Stomp but thought this would be a fun experiment to see if there really is a difference between original vs custom pedals. For reference, here is my signal chain currently:
Wireless receiver / Tuner
Wireless receiver \ T.C. Corona Chorus --> EHX Dlx Bass Big Muff --> T.C. Compressor --> BBE Sonic Stomp --> Rig/D.I.
My thought is I don't run enough effects to require a buffer but if I were to add say up to 3 more pedals, would I want to include a buffer in my main chain?
