Hi,

I’m trying to find some transistor sockets for stripboard. I can’t seem to find the right size? Can anybody tell me where I can get some from? for… (24x76-hole vintage specification phenolic 0.15"/3.81mm pitch Stripboard) Preferably somewhere in the U.K. or that’s ships here. Many thanks.

Good luck with this. I’m pretty sure all the stripboard I’ve worked with was based on 0.10”/2.54mm pitch. You could always cut single sockets and solder those.

The closest I’m aware of would be T-05 sockets, which have a 0.20 space between the diagonal pins, so the grid would be ~0.14 inches, which if the pins are undersized (or if you very slightly drilled the holes) would probably fit. But you’d need to cut a very fine break to use it on stripboard.

Hi, anyone have a clue which ones I need to buy from mouser? I’ve tried to look on their website but it’s very hard to navigate around there website to find the right ones?
Cheers
Johnny
