Triangulum Boost R1M for resistor pull/down

hello,
I bought the pcb from Triangulum Boost and I saw that Q2 and r9+r10 and d1+d2 were not necessary. however, there is not the usual 1M resistance at the input. I was thinking of using the location of r10 (and a 1M resistor) towards the ground and the 'pin' in the collector of Q2.
Do you think this is a good idea?

I think it's a good idea to add a Pull Down Resistor.

R10 is already slated as a 1M, and given its position in the layout, you just need to bridge the top (end closest to Q2) with R8 (end also closest to Q2).





Boom! Instant PDR.
