Trimmer question: Chop Shop Overdrive

Hi, quick question (first time working with trim pots)... the parts list for the Chop Shop OD calls for 3362P 50k trimmers. I've read that multi-turn trimmers are better for precise dialing-in, but for the life of me I cannot find 50K 3362s that aren't single turn. I do have some single-turn ones on hand... do you think those would suffice?

And while the specs call for 3362s, it appears the board is set up to allow for other styles (ie, seeing five holes on the PCB instead of three), but I have no idea what the other compatible trimmer models would be.

Thanks a bunch!

It's good to have a few different styles of trimmer on hand in the parts-larder, and 50k is a somewhat common value in builds.

i've got the earlier board without trimpots, so I can't verify fit, but in addition to your 3362p these should work:

MULTI-TURN TRIMMERS (below left) usually have a brass flat-head screw, the legs are generally longer so you can chuck 'm into a build fairly easily:

Some Multi-Turn trimmers have slightly staggered legs, while others have inline legs. The number of turns can vary, too...

They can be precise, but sometimes are a PITA because they turn and turn and turn and turn and turn ...
