EDIT: I was wrong in my original diagnosis, but I've continued troubleshooting my solder kit and it seems like a problem with something on the LCD screen module. My issue is that I get audio when the pedal is true bypassed, but when engaged there is no audio and the tuner doesn't detect a note.
I hooked up my cheapo signal generator/scope to trace where the audio signal gets lost. The videos below show the audio signal making it through the true bypass relay, through the pedal output and into the speaker, and when I engage the pedal the signal correctly routes to Pin 18 on the JST header. Video A shows the scope attached to Pin 18 on the main board, and video B shows me scoping the other end of that purple wire, where it connects to the LCD screen module.
Doesn't this mean the problem lies somewhere in the LCD module, and therefore not an issue with my soldering job?

Hi folks, I picked up a Q-Tune solder kit last week and I've been having trouble getting it to recognize my guitar input. I finally made some time this afternoon to throw a multimeter on it and it looks like I have a short between ground and one of the positive input pins. Only thing is, it seems like it's the input pin that's not hooked up to anything. Here's a video clip where I do a continuity check:
What could cause this? Shouldn't both of those side-by-side pads be fully isolated from ground?
