I built an uberdrive and it didn't have the same kind of gain as the original boss pedal so it found its way into the cabinet. It calls for a pair of 2SC732 transistors, which are kaput, and a quick google search returned that the sub is 2SC1815. I poked around on mouser using their filters looking for something with the same specs as the 732 and found the 2SC945. Back to the 2SC1815, it has many of the same specs as the 732, but with a lower gain. The 945 appears to show the same gain as the 1815, but looking closely you can see that its hfe is measured at half the current as the 1815, which, with my limited knowledge of how these work, seems would put it within the range of the 732.

it's at this point I realizedthe pinout of each of these two transistors are both different than the 732, which would have been helpful to know when I built the pedal. I'm a dumbass and didn't notice the pinout view is from the top, so they are definitely the same pinout. I'll order up a pair of these 945's and make them fit the pinout of the 732's and see what they do for the pedal. I felt I should share this with others
