Uberdrive with DPDT diode options

Hi,

I'm building a Uberdrive and I want to add a 2 position DPDT switch with options for symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping. At the moment I tried to solder the wires where D2 goes. Is that correct? I plugged the pedal and nothing is working at the moment.

Thank you very much for any help!

D1, D2, and D3 are connected and set up for asymmetrical clipping already on the board. How do you have the diodes soldered on the DPDT? Or are you using a mod board like this?

You could simply add a SPDT to short one of the diodes on the asymmetrical side. Anyways, I doubt the switch is the reason why the pedal doesn’t work. More pics may be needed for debugging.
Ok thanks, I might try that. I'll take pictures of the whole thing in the morning. Looking at the schematic and the direction of the diodes, doesn't it go through diode D3, D1 and then D2. I was wondering if I soldered the wires at the correct spot.

Thanks again for your help!

Yah the diode pads on the board are all connected, it wouldn't matter which set you soldered it to. If nothing is working at all (E.g, you're not getting pass through signal at all) then something else is going on. Even if you left the diodes completely out of the circuit you should be getting signal and op-amp clipping.

Thank you very much!! I'll check out everything in the morning and see if I did something wrong. I'll let you know!
