I ordered a set of pastel pink 125b enclosures and wanted to put something special into them.
I’ve been considering the Uni-Drive for a while based on use by Page and my good friend loves his Danelectro Breakdown. It’s a great “more” boost.
The Super Fuzz… it’s my one true love. I have many variants that I bought (Pepers Humongous, SolidgoldFX 76 Mk 2, Fjord Fenris, etc) and I’ve built a few too. I was worried that it would be a waste to build an another. For this one I tried to match the vintage specs as close as possible, especially for the transistors. Aion’s Super Fuzz doc has measurements from a good sounding vintage original. I also gain matched the octave transistor pair and forward voltage for the germanium diodes. Anyway, it turned out to be one of the best sounding Super Fuzzes I have, instant smiles.
They look more pink in person:
I also have a pair of pastel blue 125b enclosures I’m brainstorming for now. Maybe DS-1 and Small Clone…
