UV Printing question

Hello

I have a query regarding preparing the artwork for a pedal. It is not with tayda. But I happen to have the art done in Inkscape, which was exported in pdf, but from the printer they tell me that the file has to be vectorized.

Could someone tell me how I can vectorize the artwork? should I open the pdf in another software to do it? should I do it in the project?

I am very lost as I have very limited skills.

thanks

Vector artwork simply put, is working in shapes instead of pixels. This means they are infinitely scalable and doesn't matter if you print it on a postcard or a 40ft banner, it will never pixelate. I do all of my artwork in Corel Draw, but there is also adobe illustrator and several other programs. If you dont want to start from scratch in a vector program, there are companies that can vector it for you for a pretty reasonable price. (ignitiondrawing.com) is one of them. In most cases they will re-draw your artwork and send it to you in whatever format your printer wants.
