Van Pelt Drive MOD Question

Hi, I wanna mod my Van Pelt Drive to get a sound similar to Mark Knopfler Les Paul Tone...

How can I add more body, depth and a fuller sound to the pedal?

Thanks you all

I think the most critical mod is Mark Knopfler's Hands!
He is a Thumb & Finger picker so he has a different tone to start with.
He propably sets his Amp louder & EQ completely different to compensate.
He is so distinctive, you can hear any song & say '' Mark Knopfler is playing Guitar on that "!
Are you referring to his ''Money For Nothing" sound.
I think he is using a half cocked Wah to get that type of Intro, so many variables!

I recall once hearing that Money for Nothing was a cocked wah into a Marshall, with an SM-57 pointed straight downward about six inches above the floor. But lots of people have different stories about that tone. Kinda like Spirit in the Sky; some stuff happened and it ended up creating a totally unique tone, and then they said "huh" and moved on from it, leaving the rest of the world to try and work backwards to figure out how the hell they got there.
