van Pelt: noise but no sound.

I get some trouble with my van pelt build. I get noise but no sound. (At first i had a sound like gated fuzz and then nothing).
• Bypass works.
• I replace the TL072. same thing.
• I swapped the BS170.
• My measure: q1 : 8.77, 1.66, 0.15. q2: 4.49, 2.23, 0.15 q3:4.38, 2.17, 0.30.

I'd doublecheck R4. Looks like you may have a 620k rather than 62k there.

Assuming you have spare BS170s, you could try rotating yours 180°... Ran into a similar issue with a batch of SHO boards I recently built

I forget where I got my BS170s, but I'm fairly certain they're actually relabeled 2n7000s

Sorry about that. I also just saw the voltages you posted.

Wholeheartedly agree with @DGWVI as I just had this exact thing happen with the Face Melter I breadboarded.

Nope. it doesn't work either. Is it normal that I have 4.46V on every pin of the IC? Except 0 and 8.94.

In this post https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/very-quiet-van-pelt-angry-charlie-v4.9898/ the value for Q1 are different than mine. Is it possible there something wrong with diode?
