I hear ya. There is definitely a difference between using trello for a hobby to represent something that’s a bit too big to fit in one’s head, and the oppressive governance of a system that sends managers warnings when a work item isn’t associated with a feature.I really hate this kind of corporate project flair. I really hate it at work but for pedals it seems quite nice. Something is always better when you are not forced.
I see trello as a bit less industrial, and more like what I would build if I didn’t want to use sticky notes and a whiteboard.
It’s also handy for getting an album to the finish line. Recording, guest artist, overdubs, album art, editing, mixing, mastering, PRO registration, distribution, etc… lots of moving pieces.
