I'm planning on making a Wrectifier Distortion with a Super Hard On boost from Tayda with a pre/post toggle.
Has anyone tried the SHO from Tayda? is it any good?
Instead of trying to cram it in a 125b I was thinking use a 1590bb and add a clipping rotary switch with the extra space
This is the first time I'm trying to mod something myself. I was wondering what diodes I should add the switch to? D1 & D2? or D3 D4 D5? Would one section work better with a switch than the other? These are clipping diodes right?
I'll be getting the components soon and will socket the diodes so I can hear for myself.
