Zendrive as Booter?

Hi Guys, i been using a MESA FLUX FIVE as a main Distortion, but right now i need a Booster, more gain to that pedal. I was thinking to buy a JOYO Taichi for that purpose?.

1- I thin the taichi is a clone of Zendrive? For that the sound its more clear than a TS type? so i can use it as a clean boost in front of the MESA distortion?

2- Besides that i can set the Taichi as clean but with a little Gain, so i can use also as a stand alone effect as a little grit overdrive?

3- Maybe i need a Ts9 and case closed?

A TS type pedal usually adds compression, boosts mids and cuts some bass. So if that’s the job you need the boost to do, go for it. If you just want more gain into the overdrive, maybe a clean boost (there are hundreds!) or a low gain drive (my fave would be a blues breaker style) could work. Good luck chasing that tone!

Im using a Clone Friedman Boost right now, but still i need little more gain. Wich blues breaker alternatives do you recomend?

I like my Morning Glory a lot. I love the character especially with single coils.
