Speaker Cranker - get continuity but no sound when engaged

I am not getting a signal, have tested for continuity and get that for the entire circuit. when I use a probe I lose the signal at the transistor collector. Why would I get continuity but no signal?

What value did you use for R2?
It looks like 3.3K rather than 330R.

Maybe 330K, That'll do it!
