Pedal building class

Since I don’t have enough stuff on my plate, I decided to reach out to a maker space here in Brooklyn and organize a beginner pedal building workshop. Nothing fancy, the participants will just build a simple Amentum boost and hopefully learn how to solder. I’m gonna do a tiny bit of circuit analysis too. Spread the word if you know anybody in NYC!

I'll stay out of troubleshooting so as not to confuse them...other members, myself, and the guy who works weekends.

Great choice for a first build. I'm sure they had an awesome time. And what a fun and rewarding experience for you, too!

You'd rather have had pre-drilled 1590N1 for a little more room? Or...?

What did you guys build second time around? I feel a strong urge to go and build the Amentum board I have........

Same build, different class. I’m gonna have a more advanced one and have them build a silicon sun face.
The pre-drilled 1590B have the foot switch hole too high up and the potentiometer hole too low, so there is no room for the PPCB board. I had to drill a second hole for the pot so they ended up with an extra one.
