🎶 Oh Give Me a Home 🎶

I’ve never actually slept in a Faraday cage, but maybe there’s something to it.

Technically I have... One of the labs I used to work in was a big Faraday cage.

I might have dozed off in my chair a time or two. Nothing too exhilarating, pretty much the same as any other place I've dozed off.

Maybe it's the color, but this one looks a lot smaller from the outside.

Does the toilet on the porch count as one of the 18 bathrooms?

Watch there's about 19 floors to that basement or that yellow building is a wing and it's solid wall all the way back... or did the grey 1 photo bomb the yellow house which is what the description is for and now all we see is the crap encrusted smile of Mr. grey?

Wow. Where is that? it's a beautiful setting.

I've just been watching the two Tours de France and wishing that we lived next to/in one of the beautiful forests they have there in the mountains. Where I live forests are scratchy, sandy and fire-prone. You don't really want to walk far through them. But the forests I have visited in the northern hemisphere are so beautiful. We've walked through forests in Yosemite, up-state NY, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia... So beautiful and walkable. The forests of the eastern side of Australia are far more beautiful than most of those in the west but hard to walk through without a path.
Yes it's a lovely spot on the West Coast of South Island New Zealand, wild country. In behind Conservation land going into National park, in front a sweet lake 3 min walk. We're lucky to have found that spot. Pretty isolated and a change of lifestyle, which is what we're looking for.
Bush is dense temperate rain forest, there's a good bunch of tracks and all, kayaking on the lake.
No snakes in NZ or poisionous critters (well there's a really rare spider that has the power of a wasp sting... won't count that).

I thought it looked like NZ. I've only been to Auckland, and that was for only 24 hours. I had a job there. It was wonderful! It rained, we were in carparks and drove all over the place but the people were so much fun I can't wait to return, and this time go to the South Island.

One of our favourite TV shows is Grand Designs NZ. It's our pick of all the Grand Designs series - the houses are generally amazing, the accents make us laugh and nothing seems to stop a determined kiwi!
