Anyone here buy from Adeleparts2010 on eBay?

That’s a crapshoot there. My advice is to avoid unless it’s something rare and you’re willing to gamble.

I’ve been burnt there and had some good experiences as well. I won’t go back unless I’m desperate though. I’m guessing this is where you are..

Not desperate, not yet anyway.
They have PF5102 for a good price and I like those for some of my projects.
Since they are selling thru eBay, I can get a refund if the parts are bogus. The only risk I see is I might be wasting some of my time.

What are they asking for the 5102s and how many are you looking for sailor?

NVM, .31ea @ 50 / $5.00 shipping = .41ea…good price from what I’ve seen.

100 for $36.24 incl shipping. I bought some on Amazon for $0.50 ea last year, but that seller has now more than doubled their price.

I'll take as many as I can get. Do you know a guy who knows a guy?

I bought some Xvive VTL5C10's from him.
Order came through fine and they "seem" legit. Took a while to get here.
They work well in my Constrictor build.

I saw that review. Unless I can talk to the person who wrote that, I have no idea whether they know what they're talking about or not. JFETs can be in-spec and not work in a particular circuit. If that person used whether it worked in their circuit to judge if the JFETs were legit or counterfeit, I have my doubts about their assessment.

I should add that negative reviews like the one above are the very reason I came here to seek everyone's wise counsel.

Personally, if an eBay seller uses PayPal (for protection), has an excellent rating of ≥ 99% and return policy, it's a good bet. At least you can get your money back. If they have a 100% rating, I can live with a no return policy because PayPal will still back you up.

Even if a seller asserts that they have a "no return policy," eBay will still hold them to account if they misrepresent an item for sale. When an electronic part is advertised as "new," that means it meets spec.

I always pay with PayPal and more than once PayPal has backed me up when a deal went south.

Considering the amount of negatives per what adeleparts2010 sells, I would have purchased at that price!
Paypal doesn't take notice of ebay sellers!
Chuck just has to send a Picture of the failed part being tested on Screen & Paypal is obligated to Refund his money!
The only time Paypal will not is if you pay to family or friends!!!
