Stu would really like both the Pendulum and the Seabed. I really like the idea of an order switcher between the delay and trem; I can set the Pendulum to get spooky close to the trem in my amp (Allen Encore with bias trem), and just last night was enjoying the differences between using the amp (end of chain), or the Pendulum (pre-delay).
I haven't built a broadcast yet, but I suggested it mostly because to me it fit the aesthetic of your enclosure--kind of antique look with a fuzzy boost. And plugging straight into a console (which the sound is supposed to replicate) strikes me as hillbilly move.
You misunderstood me, the logo would be completely untouched, the footswitch below it.<respect!>
I’m gonna like it here…
But I, I mean Stu, draws the line at messing with the Duro logo…
I might suggest a Powder Blue OD. It's a Timmy modified specifically for SC pickups but sounds good with everything. It's a little less timid than a Timmy. Also a Red Rooster boost - it's a Rangemaster with a bass pot. Great old-school boost. The Broadcast is similar but uses about 5 times the parts - it is quieter though. I'd also look at the Mojito. Maybe a Big Muff modded for a little more midrange too. If you want a Big Muff to sounds less compressed and processed leave the clipping diodes off the second or third stage. That's one of my fave mods.
The Lemonade OD would be worth a look too.
Apart from dirt I would suggest some kind of delay and some reverb. I don't really hear modulation as a hillbilly effect. Although a good tremolo would be cool - unless you're happy with Deluxe Reverb tremolo.
BTW I LOVE the concept and wish I had an enclosure as cool as that! And I would keep it simple if it was mine. Don't cram too much in there.

Ah! Is see. Interesting idea. I hadn’t thought of that. It might become a very interesting option when I get down to actually choosing the drive pedals. You misunderstood me, the logo would be completely untouched, the footswitch below it.
The logo is what makes this project, you can't mess with that kind of coolio mojo.
Funny you should say that.that was one of my first thoughts. I have an SD-1 all ready to go if I settle on that.I was gonna say Wah because you said good Pearl Jam but I don’t want to be off the Xmas list! What about an SD1?
I was thinking more like lay the tube on its back, parallel to the top and let it be visible through a grille or slots in the top. Backlit with amber leds of course!Well, you can make a big hole to let the top of the tube emerging from the enclosure.
You can see the light inside the bulb, it's even better with tubes sticking out, right ?
It kinda has a hell of a lot of knobs though… Stu’s not the sharpest pencil in the cup…I was thinking more like lay the tube on its back, parallel to the top and let it be visible through a grille or slots in the top. Backlit with amber leds of course!
I also have a different cool box that would be a great single circuit enclosure…I was thinking more like lay the tube on its back, parallel to the top and let it be visible through a grille or slots in the top. Backlit with amber leds of course!
