Hello everyone!

So I could've easily taken pics and put this in the "Whats in the Mailbox" thread but i wanted to do something different and take you on a small unboxing journey with me. As you can probably tell im super excited about this pedal! And for a few reasons, one being this is my first pedal purchase in a long time (other than the ones ive made here on the forum). My second being i keep hearing nothing but great things about Bogner pedals.

A quick search revealed a video on youtube:

I immediately knew that Bogner was on my list of "oh shit" pedals. Which is a good thing......
So fast forward to about 4 days ago when @Joben Magooch mentioned that the Bogner Ecstacy Red Mini was being sold for only 80 bucks it caught my attention! Original asking price was 199.99 i believe. So i was interested right off the bat. You guessed it....I did another youtube search only to reveal there werent many demos of this thing. The demos i did watch and hear of it, portrays this as a high gain overdrive. Which sounds right. Everyone whos played it has high praise for it.

Then i found this video:

I believe this demo showcased a nice wide range of what this can do. I was pleasantly pleased and so I knew my decision was solidified! I made the purchase and waited.......

The present.....

I get a ring on my doorbell look down there it is! And my friends this is where we get to see this pedal in all its glory! I present to you......

And there she is!

I havent even plugged her up yet......but before we do lets do the real unboxing shall we? ;)

So it looks like its all SMD components with a few exceptions. No real surprise there. I see those beautiful WIMA caps, I never seen them so small!

I'm overall very impressed with the quality of this pedal! There are even notches in the enclosure for the footswitch orientation. Which is weird cause the footswitch isnt a 3pdt or even a SPST for relay bypass. Its just a soft push button with a spring at the end of it that pushes down on a button that on the circuit itself. Pretty cool feature in my opinion!

Im going to go plug this thing up and have some fun! Thank you for reading everyone!
