Used to dual boot when they came out with W95, NOTHING WORKED! We would boot on the previous version to work for the day and use W95 to research the latest patches. We literally never used it. When W97 came out we were finally able to clear the disk space of the previous two versions. I was a programmer before they called it software development, and head of MIS before they called it IT lol. So Linux was always appealing to me but I had to go with the flow and in business that was windows.Yeah, things like that are why I have a legit Windows installation. That's why they invented dual booting.
Had to support a couple Macs for some of the people in Marketing, but most of them used Win-doze.
I have a new machine I'm putting together with the CPU and chipsets released late in 2022, I'll be dual booting there since I know a lot of the software I use all the time will only run on W7. Plan on installing W11 too. I'll see how much I use it tho....
