3/8"-32 thread. The right one for guitars! In fact, the first application their datasheet suggests is electric guitars. They're pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for. Rated at 1 million cycles. They'll outlast us all. These are TT 12mm Pots, what size is the Threads on these???
I was looking at Tayda enclosed mono jacks to modify for your 9mm pot 3/8 thread issue.
Can't use this style for your 9mm pot issue???3/8"-32 thread. The right one for guitars! In fact, the first application their datasheet suggests is electric guitars.
Better than a self tapping screw, wont strip!I have a new design for an enclosure and these are vital to its construction. I’m going to start redesigning my “wedge” enclosures for more structural rigidity.
I have some really cool ideas so let’s see what happens!

This is the pot I would always use if only I could find it in dual C100k. Nobody has it worldwide (I've been looking everywhere for over a year). You have to get Mouser to custom order a whole batch of 840 for you (the minimum production run), with a 32-week lead time. At this quantity, they're still CAD$10.25 apiece, so yeah. An almost 10 grand order after tax. Anybody wanna split an order? Can't use this style for your 9mm pot issue???

Class D I would think?Time for a checkup and cleanup on one of my DIY 700 watt bass heads:

I might end up getting this one back, I sold off the sister build to a close friend not too long ago and I definitely miss it. But eh, it's just stuff!![]()
YesIs the bush thread length also 3/8"?
Exactly my point! I’ve been trying to figure out that problem for awhile now lol didn’t know how easy of a solution it was!Better than a self tapping screw, wont strip!
Any response from Tayda on the modified thread? This is the pot I would always use if only I could find it in dual C100k. Nobody has it worldwide (I've been looking everywhere for over a year). Yep, ICEPower 700ASC power module, which has an onboard +/- 15V aux power supply that runs the preamp boards. Jensen DI and line input trafos, yada yada.Class D I would think?
They actually liked the idea and said they'll look into it, but at the moment the relevant guy is super busy.Any response from Tayda on the modified thread?
I've been hacking some cheap Amazon TPA3255 boards lately. In theory one chip ought to be able to put 600W mono into 2 ohms, or 2x300W stereo/4Ohms. My experience has been very different. They've been tripping into protection mode way, way prematurely. I thought the chips were bogus, put in Mouser parts, same thing. Scratching my head big time. Either a circuit layout issue (doesn't look like it), or something really really weird that's been eluding me.Yep, ICEPower 700ASC power module, which has an onboard +/- 15V aux power supply that runs the preamp boards. Once you figure out heat management that module is just a breeze to work with. Didn't used to be all that expensive either, I got in on a group buy.

I hate people who let guitars get like this. The whole thing is rusted and grimy. All of his guitars are in this shape.

My friend has Alien acid sweat but would it kill him to give his guitars a once over?No different than cars. You see people driving trucks only a few years old and the rear quarters are already rusted right through — it's partly the crap-construction planned obsolescence from the manufacturers and partly the owner who had the money for the initial purchase but can't or won't spend the money on maintenance — and in some cases it's just plain ignorance. "The motor blew... whaddaya mean I have to add oil to it?"
Sounds like you didn't apply sufficient excessive forceThe nuts are frozen solid and won't come off. Gotta order a new plate.
Obviously. I also don't have a vise. The pot broke off but the nuts are rusted together and are now spinning in the plate but I can't pry them off.Sounds like you didn't apply sufficient excessive force
